If I made money off of it, then that would be different, but GD is just something I play for fun. My opinion about this might be an unpopular one, but nonetheless, I feel like it's highly unnecessary to put much effort into a casual game. 'Those levels take such little effort!! It's so unfair that they keep on getting rated!!' But that topic isn't what I'm discussing. Of course, if all the levels used the same designs, or were very unoriginal, that would be a different thing. If anything, it keeps the game alive by adding more and more levels.

If they use that ability to gain popularity, what about it? It's definitely valid, and no harm comes out of it. Some have the time and skill to make rate-worthy levels quickly.
